On this March, Alter Labs was lucky and under limited time to curate a design fair called “ALLUNEEDNOW Design Expo 2016” in Shanghai.
We invited more than 40 brands and designers to show their collections and works from furniture, lightings, deco objects, homewares, personal accessories, stationaries, photographies and affordable arts.
Apart from exhibitors like established brands, we selected quite many small scale, unique brands or young designers’ works which you rarely can find in the retail market. Especially, most of them could not afford expensive rental and choose to sell online or by project only.
“ALLUNEEDNOW Design Expo” is more than just an exhibition, we aim to fight knockoff pieces and support original designs in China. By setting up with popup store sector, we could support the original design we love and the value we truly believe, as well as visitors could easily experience, learn and collect back home.

二零壹六年三月，“不尋常度量单位_工作室”幸运地在有限的时间里，于上海市中心策划了 “ 现索设计展 2016 ” 。
我们邀请了40多个设计品牌和设计师，来展示他们的产品系列和作品。种类涵盖了家具、灯具、装饰品、居家用品、个人配件、文具、摄影作品到经济价格的原版授权艺术品。
展览伙伴除了已具备规模和成熟的设计品牌之外，我们特别严选了小型且具独特风格的品牌和设计师，他们一般都不容易在零售市面上看到，尤其线下店铺成本昂贵，大部分主要靠线上销售和项目来运营。
“ 现索设计展 ” 不单只是个展览，我们期望打击仿冒设计品，以及在中国为原创设计发声。如此，在展览期间也设立了游击店，来表达我们对设计喜爱的支持和坚信的价值，参观者可以在展览中轻松且真实地体验、学习以及收藏所心仪的物件回家。
